Default EJK installation + O2 sensor bypass

hi,
I recently bought the EJK controller for the KLX250s.
I installed it according to the instructions and it seems to work. didn’t test it yet.
but I need to disable the O2 sensor. the package included the O2 sensor bypass.
the problem is that it doesn’t fit the vehicle.. I included a picture
Either im doing something wrong or they have sent the wrong bypass..

This is the 02 eliminator that comes with the power commander. It looks identical to the one my mate got from EJK. The device really does need to be installed to stabilize your ecu's mapping output, because your EJK needs a constant signal to piggyback from.

It is a locking plug & does require pinching or pushing to get apart. It's nearly 2 years since I touched my 02 eliminator & just can't remember.

I'm guessing that there should be a tab that you need to depress on the harness side of the connector-sometimes you have to press on it and sometimes it needs to be lifted up to clear the tab. Can you post a pic of the connector on the bike???

well there is a tab at the side.. kind of hidden (and i tried it at night so...)
now at the morning was much easier to find. but still its very tough so needs to be pulled hard.
well managed to do it..

now EJK is installed find and working.
one more question tough. i have removed the airbox lid and the noise is just really unbearable..
returning the lid will lower my EJK results?

for a reference the side close to you has the tab:

Removing the snorkel & or drilling a few 10mm holes in the top of the airbox gives plenty airflow for my 330 big bore. Yes your right in saying removing the lid completely is a terrible noise.

If your just running a 250 bore the snorkel removal is more than enough. Maybe a higher flow air filter will help in the future, but not essential.

Use "Fuel system (DFI) > Self-Dianostic" from service manual to get error code. Maybe it's not EJK related.

It's simple to get code - you need find free 1 pin bullet connector at orange with black line wire under seat or right seat cover. Then you need connet it's to ground (battery negative) at "off" key position.

After "on" key position and "FI" light will blink for code.

Then you need to comapre code with table to catch mailfinction
