DynoJet needle compared to Stock
Does anybody have a picture of the DynoJet 2152 needle next to the stock needle? Just trying to get my head around the need for the adjustment washers before I crack the carb open.

The adjustment slots are only part of the design. The actual profile of the needle is different too.
If I re do my needle tomorrow I can take a picture. I'm not sure if I will though.

Not exact match but should be close enough. From:

3 mm flat washers will work and are typically half a clip in thickness, .020", so stacking two of them is like moving the needle up one clip

Spend the money, get the KLX300R needle, clip, and whatever else. See the document in my signature to see the actual part numbers. I tried shimming the stock needle, but that KLX300 needle is pretty much proven to work.
There is a Mikuni manual with the actual measurements at given increments on every one of their numbered needles, not sure if Kiehin does the same.

Hey Zomby (or anyone really), if you still have your DJ needle out, would you be able to measure it's diameter at set increments for me?
I'm having serious mid range issues with my bike when using the DJ needle and I'm wondering if my needle is out of spec or the wrong one entirely.
