Default DG R series slip on

So I decided to re jet and pipe my 07 250. Called DG and needed some info on the R series and talked to Jeff. Although they really don't make these anymore he said they can easily fab up a new one for me. Then he did some research and thinks the 09 will fit He also said he needed a guinea pig to test the fit for the 07. So he gave 20.00 bucks off + free shipping and if it doesn't fit free return with a new fab slip on. Bought the stg 2 kit off amazon for 50.00 free shipping. So I'm in for about 250.00 I also still have my KDX 250 snorkel so I'll probably use that as well.

So anybody know if the 09 R series will fit the 07? I guess I'll find out soon enough he already shipped it earlier today.

It was stupid simple thought something was wrong, but I did burn the middle finger while I was bolting on the side panel. Jet kit just showed up so it looks like carb tunes tomorrow. Fkr is loud but i like it!! Very throaty sounds like a XL600.
