Dents in front rim?
2009 KLX250S OEM rims
I got a flat and luckily was able to fix it on a stand in the campground. Noticed the front wheel has two dents, places where one side flares out maybe 2 mm out of true. Not sure if I get the credit or previous owner.
What are my options here? Hammering had no effect, maybe a C clamp at home will. I notice that Buchanan offers "straighten wire wheel" service so it seems like total replacement is not always required.
I am planning to install Tubliss and am not sure how critical rim staightness is for that system.
Thanks for any pointers

Found this on the Tubliss site:
"Since TUbliss seals to the inside of the tire, the condition of the rim is almost irrelevant. However the INSIDE SURFACE of the tires bead does need to be in VERY GOOD conditions, as this is what the TUbliss seals to." - See more at: TUbliss Motorcycle Dirt Bike Tubeless Tires | Nuetech

I've got a big ding in my front rim as well, both sides bowed out like you describe. It causes me no issue with my Tubliss system sealing.
Interestingly, since installing the Tubliss, those loud rock strikes that used to ring off my rims don't happen anymore, even at much lower tire pressures than I used to run. That 360 degree rim lock feature is nice, and definitely saves the rims from further beating.

Isn't that the best part?!?! I started just slamming rocks on our last two rides and not a single rim ring-a-ding.

Definitely one of the highlights of the setup!
