Turned out to be M4 .7 x 12. Ok, got the screws out and replaced them (all they had was the black ones so I'll just get new ones once a year or so). Now to scrounge up one of those things that sucks the oil out.

Do you guys on this forum have a preferred vendor for parts and stuff? We don't have a dealer on this island so pretty much have to order everything.

And I know this is a different subject, but I'm sure you guys will know. What's up with the speedo cable routing here? Shouldn't it be outside the forks?

It is on the outside on my KLX650 which uses darn near the exact same front end as the 06-07.

Harbor Freight has a $30 vacuum bleeder. Well worth it. If you can get one, do so.

Put some clear nail polish on the heads of the black oxide screws.

No idea who is best for parts when you're in Hawaii.
