2006 Kawasaki klx 250 for sale. Does have a tear in the seat and needs a battery. Other than that it's good to go. This bike is street and dirt ready. Bike has 9629 miles

2012 KLX 250S
2012 KLX 250S - $3300 (Hagerman)
2012 KLX 250S odometer: 4500 paint color : green fuel : gas transmission : manual title status : clean
condition: good
Selling my 2012 KLX 250S. Dual sport motorcycle good for street and dirt riding. Commute to work and then hit the trails on the weekends on the same bike. ~4500 miles mostly street. Changed oil and filter regularly. Runs perfect and starts right up with electric start.
Extras:
Dynojet Jet kit (improves throttle response, power, and gives adjustability for elevation)
MSR Handguards
Rear cargo rack
Krieger Cam Chain Tensioner (manual tensioner ensures proper tension)
K270 DOT approved rear knobby (80%)
Stock front tire (20% still fine for street, but should be replaced for dirt riding)
Comes with extra sprockets for front (13, 14, and 15 tooth) and rear (48 tooth) and extra chain (110 link) to make this bike very versatile.

This is a real awesome bike.
The KLX 250 is a great trail worthy dual sport. 2006-2007 were the best years for this model. They are lighter and have better suspension than the newer ones. I have put some work into making this bike even more single-track worthy:
-Header and muffler off of KLX300R
-Larger main jet in carb
-13 tooth front sprocket
-46 tooth rear sprocket
-Opened up the air box
Adventure awaits.

I just paid $2800 for an '09, 6.3K miles, very clean and with newer tires. More or less box stock except for Quad4, Powerbomb and Dynojet kit (since removed in favor of OEM exhaust and FOR SALE if anyone is interested -- snuck that one in there, didn't I?

I thought the price was a little on the high side, but these bikes are fairly scarce here compared to the pricier Zook DRZ-400, and I had a little mad money from the sale of a big 'ol honkin' Vulcan 1600 Classic.
BTW, I like the older gauge set with analog instruments better than the '09 digital. Guess I'm old fashioned in that regard.

I hear you. I'd rather just be able to glance at the speedo and see that the pointer is in the ballpark instead of having to read a number.

bike has 4200 miles on it and 2 brothers slip on muffler pipe good clean bike Street legal but it can go off road to. great starter bike. just state inspected clean title for sale by owner
