I scored an 09 klx250s in LA....1450$
lmao, was in Prescott AZ for x-mass, and surfing the web I found a 2009 klx250s less than 10k miles, decent shape, but been sitting. in LA (almost on the way home to Marin...
only 1450$ (w ramp, stand and a huge rear bag rack that I'll sell).
Both calipers are shot as are pads. rad sides are missing and tank is not bolted in place, "I'm paid to have the carb cleaned twice, but each time I end up leaving it sit after, and I don't know why it won't start".....
"also I ran it out of gas after the last time"...
So I bought it without it starting , popped a bit, but no real fire, with ether...
and when I got it home I realized there is a sidestand cut-out switch AND a clutch switch, and dude was tring to start in on stand without covering clutch....
lmao.

2009 Husqvarna 450 smr
I know it's not a KLX but if I got it I would not need the BB351 I am currently itching to buy.

Just came across this klx on ebay. For all of the work and parts put into it seems like a good deal. Sort of cool they but an electric start on a KLX300R. If I didn't already convert my klx250 into a 351 with all of the other work I would seriously consider getting this klx. What do you guys think?

I think?
11-year old bike with no speedometer, so mileage is unknown.
Even though said to be street legal, it appear that there aren't near enough wires behind that number plate to accommodate turn signals, brake light, head lights, etc., and the headlight and taillight aren't mounted. I see no cowl for the headlight.
The rear tire looks very lame for off-roading.
No hand guards? How could he have missed that?
Rear swing arm looks to be from a newer bike, not the original style.
If you do want to stay street legal, I'd say you would be much better off with the 250S and the big bore kit, if you need the extra performance.
My $0.02.

Clean 2006 in Kentucky - $1850
Solid deal on a first gen. Not sure of the mileage, but it looks really clean. Probably a good thing that I don't live closer, very tempting....

2009 klx250s a steal at a grand!!!
Picked up a great condition klx250 last week in Denver for a thousand bucks... Shift star was broken and the dealer had told the guy it was clutch forks and gonna be 800 to fix. Luckily through this thread I found the info I needed!! At only 2700 miles I feel like I got a pretty good deal. Now just waiting for parts...
