Coolant temp light
Soooooo.
Riding today in 42 celcius (with humidex) which is I geuss around 107 f.
Temp light came on in slow traffic, but went off as soon as I hit the kill switch (in a parking lot).
Rode to trail. Course light comes on again in the trail. Stop engine and it goes out fast again.
Next time it came on I continued riding, giving it a minute or so, and it turned off again. This happened a few times. Fan came on for maybe 30-60 sec.
Then we packed up cause it was hot as *****.
So it seems like light came on, fan kicked in, light went off, etc.. yes, I know that's what the fan is for, but shouldn't it come on BEFORE the light comes on?? Or does it blink or something (it came on steady red)when it's truly gonna blow?

Manual specs the fan switch activating at approx. 210F and the warning light activating at approx. 225F. It's a simple circuit for the light-the switch provides a ground path for the lamp circuit so unless there is a short to ground on the harness then I would take a close look at the switch.
