You must be careful with some of these custom blend products as they don't contain antifreeze.
Products like "WaterWetter" is a prime example..........it will freeze at temps below 32F.

Engine Ice shown above is fine as it does contain a certain percentage of antifreeze and will protect to -26F along with added benefits of running cooler than standard coolant.

water wetter is not a complete antifreeze. It is an additive... Yes. Make sure what you are putting in is antifreeze.

No it's not an antifreeze.........but it's not just an additive either.....
It can be used as a complete coolant along with distilled water, as long as you don't run into freezing temps.

Its a surfactanct as we discussed in my fluid powers class, it lowers surface tension... on that note I argue dishsoap can produce similiar results. :-P

(I'm sure there is a sudsy reason we don't though lol)

i used waterwetter when i had my sportbike for trackdays and since i did not ride in freezing temps i never used antifreeze and changing it was a breeze.

that engine ice bottle says that it is biodegradable...so does that mean you do not have to recycle it? I dont mind changing my own antifreeze but getting rid of it responsibly is a hassle.

it looks more expensive but the convenience would out weigh that for me.
