$10. Do you think KLX250R rotors would fit the 09 250s?

 

The bolt pattern is probably the same, not sure of the diameter though.

 

They are only $10...I really should just order and see.

Got the rotors today...they look nasty. They are discolored or something. The picture on the site does depict this so maybe it's on purpose. They are supposed to be a match for the KLX650 as well.

My new wheels are at the post office...and my bike is still at the shop. We'll see how it goes, soon I hope.

 

Glad the wheels got there. I also bought a Titax rotor, have not installed it yet. They are UGLY, but are very thick. i read somewhere that you should run your stock pads at first, as the new rotors will eat them up until they get smooth, then put on new pads.

 

I bought a new rotor (good quality) and used the stock pads, 3 years later they are still working fine

I matched your rotor to the Titax one and they look to be exactly the same. I only visually matched yours on top of the Titax inside its package. I think that you'll be OK with it, aside from it looking like puke. I now realize their kind of was no point in ordering the rotor. Oh well it was only $10. I'll have the front KLX300 rotor from 09KLXOwner coming soon. My drill press is waiting....

Will be picking the bike up tomorrow and I can't wait to get these wheels mounted. Babbitts sucks..they take forever. I am going to have to try them out with a 14/42 combo gearing because the 39t sprocket is taking forever.

 

14/42 on the 17's should give you some serious take off power! Maybe even lift the front wheel. I lift going into second with 14/39 on mine all the time. You will love them on the street too.
