Carb T Mod Question (2007 KLX250)
Hi there.
I have been searching, but I still have a question about the carb T mod on my 2007. I have three hoses coming off the carb.
One is directly on the bottom coming off the bowl, one is on the right side of the carb right where the throttle cables connect, and one is on the left side and connects to a plastic tube just above the fuel line.
Which one(s) and I to do the T mod on?
Thanks for the help.

I have been searching around a bit more, and I think it is the two clear tubes (one on each side of the carb) that needs to be modified. By the looks of it, the small black tube that comes directly from the bowl does not need to have the T in it.
Can anyone confirm?
Thanks.

Thanks for that. I will vent those two side lines and leave the bowl drain alone for now.
Yes, that bowl hose is closed (when not draining the bowl), but I can still blow through it when the drain screw is closed, as I am assuming it is also the bowl overflow and connected to that long tube in the bowl. Is there no vacuum created through that line while it runs? It seems to me that it is open to the environment.
Sorry for the questions, but I am trying to get a better understanding of how the carb works.
Thanks.

+1 For the carb vent mod.
I used to always suck muddy water into my carb when I got stuck in deep mud holes and hammered on the throttle. Usually I could get it to restart but once I had to pull the carb in the woods to clean it...
Haven't had a single issue issue since I added the T to the airbox.
