Buying an Acerbis Tank is Like Buying a Harley!
I called Scott at Acerbis USA today and asked some questions on the 3.7 gallon tank for the KLX300. The next shipment coming in is July 28th. If you want one, call him, buy it now and wait for the tank to come in!
Seems like trying to order a Harley-Davidson a couple of years ago. You went in, placed an order, gave them some money and waited for the product to come in.
Sure does seem like a very independant attitude on doing business. Guess when you are a sole supplier, you can write the rules.

In the mean time, just get the IMS tank. It's not a bad install and the only thing you can't reverse is the shroud cut outs and the two frame hooks that hold the wire loom under the stock tank (and these are unnecessary in any case).
It's only a bit more expensive due to the need for the KLX300 petcock but you might actually SAVE money Marty because the 200 mile range the IMS gives you is goin to make you question why you still need that KLR650 in the garage...
