Bought a KLX300 cylinder. What gasket kit do I need?

What you are likely seeing is glazing over the crosshatch that should be there from the factory. You can confirm this by using a Scotchbrite pad and WD40. If you don't see some crosshatch after a little elbow grease work, you may have a worn out cylinder. Most "experts" conclude you can use a ball hone with nothing more aggressive than medium grit to remove the glaze also. Do not use a diamond rated hone. Most people just use the Scotchbrite pad method. It's hard to hurt the nikasil/electrofusion plating unless you get crazy with some power tools or something like a diamond hone.
