BB TM34 w/351 Jetting?
Yep, another jetting thread... sorry!
I have a TM34 that I pulled out of the box to install that I picked up used here on the forum a few months ago. With Winter coming, I was in no hurry to go through the all-day job of playing jetting games with it. Now I'm in the mood. But... where to start? I bought a bunch of jets for it so I need to find the best starting point for fine-tuning with my Wideband O2 sensor.
351 with KLX300 pipe/muffler, Twin Air filter, KDX snorkel, at sea level.
What's everybody else running who has a BB TM34 and 351?
This is my current jetting on my stock carb:
Keihen 135 Main Jet (DJ126)
Needle in 4th Clip from Top plus one Shim
35 Pilot
It's just about dead-on perfect with the above setup.
Thanks!
Rob
Edit:
Here's what was in the carb when I got it: Main Jet 142.5, 40 Pilot, Needle on middle clip with a nylon spacer under. The jets I have for it are 130, 135, 140, 145, and a 37.5 pilot.

Do you have the TM34 too or are you still running the stock carb, because I can help with the stock one. That was two full days of testing/rejetting with my wideband O2 sensor to get it right.

Rob, can you use the spreadsheet as a starting point?

Ohhhhh!!! I forgot all about that spreadsheet! Yes, perfect, thanks!
Edit: Spoke too soon. Crap, only two TM34's listed, and one doesn't have jetting details. Well, at least one does (but he's at 3300'). Still, it kinda confirms what I was going to start with if I couldn't find anything better.
I'm going to start with a 135 main, 37.5 pilot and leave the needle at middle notch plus spacer. I don't have a smaller pilot jet.

Not sure if this will help you or not, but I have a '06 with a tm34 and BB 351 kit, full muzzy with a KDX snorkel. I'm running a 40 pilot and a 145 main at sea level. Seems to be spot on for me.
I'd "fatten" up that 135 number - error on the side of rich.....

Not sure if my numbers will help either but...
09 q4, stock header, kdx snorkel. 6200'. I have 142.5 and 40. Ran great at sea level as well with just a turn on mixture screw. Valves and re sprung suspension, love the bike now!
