Default Battle Scars

For 2 years I've managed to keep my brand-new 2012 in a more-or-less pristine state. After a bad day in Stoddard Valley this season I ended up with a front fender that was creased and gouged by rocks. It still has its shape though.

Part of me wants to replace it w/ new so my bike is pretty again. Another wants to 'wear' these scars proudly.

What's the proper etiquette in this situation?

I say let it look like crap, otherwise you wouldn't have any interesting stories to tell

Etiquette?...what the heck is that? This is a dirt bike...you were using it as a dirt bike. Rub some dirt on it and move on.

Hell, I had all of these really cool decals plastered all over the bike when it was new-now there are bits and pieces of them hanging on.

Battle scars are cool....

Haha, I'm afraid the physics were more in my favor than the turkey's. He flew 50' without wings!
I technically need a new fender to pass inspection. But plenty of scars will be left.
