351 Glowing Header - Lame!

thats why its important to test things out yourself and not put too much stock in anothers settings. i'm actually thinking about trying the #124 even.

Yeah I agree 100% different bikes, different needs. Suggestions are merely for ball park figures.

Wildcard, your experience with the #132 seems well outside the norm. Assuming your CV is not modified in some way, I'd encourage you to try the 132 again paying careful attention to the needle installation and the float level.

Matt, how bout spending $70 on a Dyno run so we can see your HP, TRQ and AFR. I'd be a real help and perhaps a real eye opener to the 351 peeps/TM36 peeps. Perhaps you'll find a few extra HP as well, if your AFR needs tweaking...

I know I know I know! work and school I have no free time. Dyno jet shop is just down the street too...I'll go this friday. I'm certain my AFR needs tweaking

Be sure to take a flash drive to get the 3 charts directly off the Dyno..
Oh, and make sure they use 4th gear..

Your jetting is for the stock 250 bore, which may not be pulling fuel as efficiently through the jet orifice as a larger bore (more air, larger vacuum) resulting in the need for a larger jet.
I'm not going to waste anymore time fooling with the carb settings trying to get the 132 to work, I threw enough time away installing and removing the air box lid chasing the extra power that I thought might be on the table with the larger jet. It was a goose chase in my experience.
I'm going to keep the #128 until I get the money for a pumper.
