Hi guys i recently bought a 2009 KLX 250S (EU EFI version) with 11k miles as my first bike

the biek has been siting during the last 1½ month while i take my licence and i put new tires, and a regular oil + filter service.

yesterday i went and put the battery in and the bike was hard to start.
it would start and run les then 5 seconds and cut out.

i could disconect the battery and put it back on after letting the ecu discharge. and it would start and idle fine and even rev fine(kep revs under 5-7k)

today i went to change the oil and it had the same starting issue and i had to take battery off let ecu run out of power reinstall and then i would start.
i let it warm up and changed the oil and the starting problem returned again
did as before to get it to start let it
(i let it idle and reved it a bit for approx 10 minutes)

used a booster battery to help i start (fully charged) so i do not think the battery is at fault
i did notice during idle when cold it would change rpm up and down very slightly. possible also a little when warmed up.
last time had to let take battery off 2-3 times before it startet.

has anyone here has this issue happen?

the bike is scheduled to have the recall done on the gas tank and the ecu wire (has been temp repaired)
