2009+ Gold valve part numbers?
So I've been hunting up info on gold valves. Anyone with a 2009+ installed GV's and know the part numbers?
FMGV 2001 is the fork part listed. It's listed as a 'type 3', which I haven't been able to find in the documentation. Only type 1 and 2 and the GR-2.
Shock is listed as SMGV 441203, which doesn't seem to be listed anywhere but racetech.com
I'd like to try and find a deal on parts, but it looks like I'll have to by from racetech in case they dont fit and I have to send them back.
Anyone with firsthand knowledge?

I have them in mine, front forks and rear shock. PO had them installed, didn't check the model number when I reset mine, so I can't help you out with a number. Just that for sure they are available for the bike.
Try calling them on the phone, not email. You'll get better service that way. Maybe they don't list bikes that aren't popular. I noticed that with another bike I had. Nothing listed on website, email reply wasn't helpful, like they did what I did, just looked it up on website. Then I called, and second person I talked to, set me right up. If you call and they can't help you find one, ask to talk to head tech. Thats what I did.

yeah man, Racetech lists part numbers for the '09, but I can't find reference to them anywhere else. Several websites list the 2040 parts for the forks as being compatible, but Racetech lists the 2001 part number...lol I can't find any third party reference to the shock part number listed on racetech.com.
I was hoping to buy from someone other than Racetech for a discount, but am hesitant because I don't want to pull everything apart and find I have the wrong pieces.
When the time comes, I reckon I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and pay retail..... which goes against my KLR roots....

You mean you want the model number of Gold Valve so you know what one to order from another vendor like Amazon or ebay? I know these are universal fit to fork diameter and type, not each valve is made for each model bike. Kind of a generic fit. Also, each vendor has their own unique part/stock numer. They normally do list manufacturer's part number which is different. Contact vender and ask if you can't find it on your own.
