I would like to tow my ski behind my yacht. The owner's manual says not to tow it. However, my dealer says I can put a valve in the water intake line to prevent swamping the motor. Witch is correct?

Secondly, is there type of "platform" that I can put the ski on and then tow said platform? This would protect the ski and allow it to be flushed after use in salt water.
