Hello everyone and Merry Christmas. I have an 88 Bayou 300 that the CDI (ignitor) went out on. I've done some looking and the cheapest I've been able to find a new one is for $150. Thats pretty steep for a college kid. I've deen mention of people using a GM HEI to replace the Bayou CDI and was wondering if anybody has done this or just your input on th idea. Thanks alot, any info is helpful.
