My 03 650 prairie does not shift into 4-wheel drive. There are no indicators on the dash board showing any problems. I have bought a service manual to help me in maintaining my ATV. I have read about the 2/4 wheel actuator on the ATV. There is nothing telling me how to test or troubleshoot this actuator. Is this a common problem with them or is thier somethig else I should look at before replacing the actuator? Is there a way to test it? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Well, I have figured out part of the problem. I found a 5 & 10 amp fuse blown under the seat. I replaced the fuses and the 2/4 wheel drive now work again. The only problem I see now is that on the dashboard, the 2-wheel and 4-wheel indicator flashes back and fourth constantly bwteen them, no matter what position you are in. Any ideas on cause?
