Snow + Incline = Zero traction

Snow + Incline = Zero traction
I own a farm in the hill country of western Wisconsin, and purchased my first Mule last spring, a 2016 4010 Mule
I am happy with everyday work, but when it came time to use the unit for hunting late this fall, I was surprisingly disappointed in traction in hilly terrain.
Especially with any amount of snow, or even rain, the Mule has zero traction getting up those hills.
I was wondering if anyone else experiences these issues, and what the best coarse of action, if any, can be done? Different tires?
Hate to dish out for all new tires on a new UTV
