new mule 550 carb flooding out. will noteven fire. p/n 15003-2589
I put a new kawsaki 15003-2589 on my mule 550 kaf300-c3. With old carb. it will start but not idle good.
With new carb. it will not even fire at all. Take plug out and it is flooded.
I just got this mule and do not know a lot about how one is supposed to put it in gear without grinding the gear. Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. 
Sounds like the float is sticking. Pull the carb and open up the bowl, make sure the float moves easily and ins't flooded. Sometimes they have a tiny hole in them and fill up with fuel.
