Hello everyone. I need some help. I am having some front end noise on my mule. It seems to be coming from the front passenger side. I took the wheel off and the CV is sloppy. And I can slide it out ward a little bit from the front differential. The other side does not do that. So, I'm thinking it is trashed. It makes a lot of noise up there. My question is this? Can I replace this without taking the ball joint off? Because I took the wheel and hub off. And when I went to try to take the ball joint out, it is not budging. I took the nut and cotter pin out, and nothing else would budge. I really need to get this cv axle replaced as it is making a lot of noise and leaking some differential fluid. And I am scared I will mess up my front diff. I also need to change the driver side ball joint. How do you get these ball joint off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
