I'm new to jet skis so forgive me......I have a '97 STX 900 that the oil light flashes (oil in tank though), the low gas light is on (gas in tank though) and I was running it out of water with the hose hooked up and every time I accelerated gobs of black oil come out of the exhaust along with lots of smoke ...its just spewing out all over my driveway. I did find that the previous time out (1.5 years ago) it was ran with the choke on the entire time, didn't realize it was for choke..thought it was an ON/OFF switch for starter or something. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
