Just got a '95 750 STS. Prev owner had engine re-done last year due to oil injection failure (pre-mix now). Engine is silver, with 10 intake bolts... seems like a small pin. But it has dual carbs. Did Kawa make both big & small pin, dual carb STS's in '95? Was it possibly changed to a small pin when "rebuilt"??? P.O wasn't mechanical at all.. probably doesn't know exactly what the shop did to "rebuild" it. Is it a problem... is the small pin a good engine anyway? Seems to run great... pulls a tube OK, nice and stable for the wife & 14 yr old grandson. I suppose you could say that I'm happy with it... price was right ($1100), but I thought it was a big pin at purchase time. Did I get taken??.
