Having problems with one of my ski's. Starts great....when you accelerate it seems slow and will only go up to about 12 mph...then seems to free up...like it is getting fuel. Runs strong up to about 35 mph and then tops out.
Do these have low and high jets in the carb like some other engines. Is there such a thing as a carb kit. I have run two tanks of fuel thru it with Sea Foam added....hoping it would clear things up. We bought the ski and it had not been run much by the previous owner....

what rpm's does it run should be 6750 i just posted a pic how to check the space on the impeller

 

Thanks for the advice. Ended up with two cylinders with 120 compression and one at 60. Choice was a top overhaul or for $200 more, could get a rebuilt. Went with the rebuilt...that and carb kits and it is running great.
Curious, what should the max rpm's be
