Question 90 650 ts NEED HELP

hellow everyone... i have a 1990 650 ts, it starts up fine runs great at idle. When i give it some gas it boggs down. if i remove the seat while im trying to go, it runs 200x better. i replaced spark plugs cleaned the carb. It seems like its not getting enough air with the seat on... What should i do , cut out a eternal air duct to make it like a ram air... PLEASE HELP

Did you post this on another forum recently.... sounds familiar.
Problem is exhaust leak.... it is choking on its own exhaust in the engine bay.

I am not fully familiar with the TS model. You need some air passage to let outside air into the engine bay, but without the likelyhood of water coming in that same passage. Most sit-downs have an air inlet passage somewhere under the rear area of the seat, but the TS is a different hull type???
Run it , in the lake, but still lashed down on the trailer, but with the seat off. Look / listen / feel for any exhaust leak inside the engine bay. This test does NOT work very well in your driveway because you need the backpressure of the exhaust trying to bubble its way out the back end under water (and it is quieter in the lake as well to help listen for leaks). The rubber hose-like connectors are suspect. But pipes, waterboxes, etc can go bad too. Might be a gasket leak at the manifold, but actually that usually is not the problem.
