water wetter /water /antifreeze or just 50/50
Did plugs, air filter, and oil and filter this weekend and figured i might as well do the coolant flush as well. Been doin research to figure what i should refill with once i flush my coolant. I havent found any test results with 50/50 blend VS. say a 46 coolant/ 50 water/ 4 water wetter (or any ideal combination of the three) that show which of the two is advantageous. Anyone do any tests to see if the water wetter improved performance alongside a good amount of antifreeze? I would still like the freezing climate protection of the antifreeze but run a lower temp wiht the additive. Will i be wasting my money trying to run the combination of the three when it may be just as effective to run the 50/50?
i read someone post a 46% water/ 4% water wetter/ 50% coolant being ideal.
Also i read one review on Amsoil coolant. Being Amsoil this must be good?
thx

46% water/ 4% water wetter/ 50% coolant, I do not see any real way this could ever be a factor in street ridding, maybe under race conditions or on the dyno.
I would say if you like the product like water wetter ru it 50/50 or 100% I like it and notice a small reduction in running temp but nothing to excited about.

Water wetter does make a pretty good difference. There was actually a nother post around here somewhere I put all the links on to support water wetter vs water only vs 50/50 antifreeze...
If you are going to run antifreeze, water wetter will not be advantagous to you. Water wetter performs much better in a water only scenerio. Personally. I run 6 ozs of wetter to distilled water with a rust inhibitor. It makes about a 20 degree difference on my bike. In 110 degree weather, my fan will never kick on now. It used to with the ethylene glycol mix at 50/50...
In the winter time, our winters are extremely mild anyway, I go back to a 30% antifreeze with 6 ozs water wetter mix.
