Vulcan 800 stall when releasing clutch
New here!
1995 800 Vulcan has a safety cut-off if stand is down and clutch is released. It has been acting up over several months. I thought that the problem was in the stand switch. Tonight when I could not go because it kept cutting off, I cut the 2 wires that go between the ignition and the stand. It still cut off when I released the clutch. I had to play the clutch out in 2nd gear to get it home - about one mile. Better than pushing it! But that did not fix the problem. I am clueless! Any experience with this from anyone?
