Hi guys,

So i have a 1986 Kawasaki GPX 750. I'll get straight into it so i don't bore you.
Basically, with this bike, (i've had it for a month now) when I turn the ignition key to the on position, i get the oil indicator light in the bottom left corner, the fuel indicator light in the bottom left corner, and the neutral light in the bottom right corner. This, is normal. when i go to start the bike, it clicks over very nicely, and runs like a dream. (Pic included)

Lately though, i haven't actually been able to start my bike. for some reason for the past week, every time i go to use the bike, and i do the normal procedure, put the key in and click it over to "on" i get every single status light on. Yes. Both of the blinker lights, the fuel light, the brake light the neutral light and the high beam light. When i hit the ignition button, i get a very loud buzzing from the solenoid and the rev counter goes up to 4000, and yet the bike isn't even clicking over. Before you ask, Yes i have charged the battery and it is fully charged. this still happens even when i try to jump it from my car which also has a full battery. Believe me, it's not the battery.

I have replaced the junction box, all of the fuses, had a look at the wiring harness, nothing burned out or shorted, and i just cannot understand why the bike is doing this. It has completely stumped me. Any suggestions? (Pic included)

 

It does sound like a voltage drop or a bad relay. Take out your voltmeter and do some checks. Welcome to KF and congrats on the new ride.
