i have a customer that needs his zzr 600 lowered and i cant find any dogbones. i heard that they are the same as either a zx6r or a 636, anyone know if this is true? need help so i can get this guy lowered.

The 05-06 ZZR600's are exactly the same bike as the 00-02 ZX6R, except for a few cosmetic changes (paint, the uppoer fairing stay, etc..)

 

man, thanks! quick question. does that go for the exhaust also? having a hard time finding an exhaust for him too.

 

Yeah, it's the same engine, same bike... In fact, my manual says: Ninja ZX-6R on the front.

No problem... And it's just the "new" '05-06 ZZR's... The '04s and earlier are a different bike alltogether.

It's time's like this that I'm glad I'm tall, so I don't have to worry about it. I know there's been a few times right after I bought my bike that I would've dropped it if I didn't have long legs.

yeah im tall too. my wife has a yamy yzf600R and i lowered it for her 2 1/2", well she now pregnant, so no riding, so i have to to keep it running. its pretty funny looking to see a 6' 3" guy on a bike an inch and a half off the ground. so i agree im glad im tall. i have a 01 R1 myself, fully polished, lots of mods on her.
