This is my first post!

I am currently in the market for a new bike, I came across a 2007 KX 250 with a full Pro Circuit(Gold Series) system. The rest of the bike is pretty standard.

It is for sale at quite a reputable dirt bike shop in the Johannesburg area.

The only thing is that the whole motor has been rebuilt as the previous owners seized the bottom end. Overall the bike seems to be in a good condition.

I am a bit skeptic as to buy a an overhauled bike. On the other side I know that I am getting a "new" motor, is this a good or a bad thing.

According to some guys on the net a 2 stroke motor's top end needs to be redone at least every 1-2 years depending on your riding.

I am a weekend rider so no serious racing.

If you peeps could please give some advise I would greatly appreciate it!!!!
