Default Igniter Issues Please Help

I have a 1995 GPZ 1100. I have replaced the igniter twice with used ones from ebay that "came off of running bikes." I just ohmed the second one out and most all of the output pins read infinity. I used a Bikemaster ohmeter.
Is there any chance my bike is killing these igniters? I normally don't buy used electronics but did this time. I wouldn't have thought two used igniters in a row are both bad but perhaps. Maybe I just had bad luck with used parts.
They both ran the bike poorly and only at low RPMs, would not rev evven into mid-range RPMs.
Now the second igniter did give me a back fire on starting fluid but the bike won't fire anymore.
I have spark at all four plugs. I worked on a lot of cars but this is my first bike.
The spark looks weak compared to a car, but its white and all four plugs are sparking.
Is there any chance my bike is ruining these igniters? I want to check everything out because a NEW Igniter is about $400 and I don't want it blown.
I didn't check either used igniter before I plugged them into the bike. I just figured they would run.
My carbs look clean but I don't get any start now not even a sputter.
Any ideas about what is ruining the igniters? Or maybe I just had bad luck with used parts.

Do you know anyone else with the same bike, running, to try your igniter on? I recently blew my CDI with a bad ground and diagnosed by finding the same bike and putting my CDI on it. No spark at all.

No I don't know anyone with the same bike to test it on.
