2003 vulcan 800
I bought a 2003 Vulcan 800 last janurary and it seemed to run pretty but would be kind of chopping at times when I first took out. Well I put in a K&N air filter and I think I created a monster. It pops even more for about the first mile and a half. Then it seems to run alright. I was told that I need to re-jet the engine because they come from overseas to meet regulations. It seems to be running lean and is a very cold blooded bike. Anyone have similar problems? Is there a place to get the jets for cheap?

I am not to familiar with the vulcan model but if it is carbureted then yes you should re-jet. If it is, fuel injected you need Power Commander.
Dynojet is a good one and most cost about 100.00. If you are mechanically inclined then it can be done your self by following the supplied instructions.
