I almost picked up a new 2012 ZX-10r but the temptation to actually use the bike would have been too much....

I guess my Z1k will have to share me with another lady ;-)

Congrats on the new ride. I am sure that the Z1k still has its place in your heart.

Good to see ya back.

Thanks Dragone,

yes the Z1k definitely will have a place, it actually feels like a feather compared to the Connie and I used to think it was a heavy bike :-p

Thanks Jeffzx9,

so.... i found a few surprises... the original owner said it was only lowered in the front but in reality it had new links, the kick stand and the center stand had both been cut oh and it had handle bar risers.. this all put together pretty much meant i was riding in an awkward position. so this past weekend I finally received all the parts and my brother and I put the suspension back to stock, and she feels so GOOOOD. now i am waiting on the stock kickstand and center stand so I can park it on the street.

I did order a new Muzzy Slip-on for it, which should be arriving today.

And this weekend I was bored and by myself... so i took her to the beach, I went to Rehoboth Beach which about 150 miles from Northern VA, I did all that driving just to eat some fries and go back home, sounds like a good day (I parked next to a 950 KTM, that thing is a monster)
