trouble shooting for a vulcan 800
Ok I'm new to the group and I just got a 96' Vulcan 800 I've been practicing on it before I get my licence but lately it won't start, not even turnover, I know I've flooded out the engine while I'm learning how to drive it but after that like a couple of day's later it started back up, after that day though I tried starting it and it only made some turning over sounds, but never started, then I waited for a bit longer and now it won't even turnover so I was thinking it might be the battery but I'm not completely sure. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated thank you all

RE: trouble shooting for a vulcan 800
Welcome to the KF family....
What it sounds like is, you flooded out the plugs, and you tried to keep starting it until the battery ran dead. Is that right? Get your battery charged back up. You can even take your battery in to most automotive parts stores, and they will charge it and test it for ya free of charge. Next, change your plugs out. If you flooded her that bad, plugs need changing. Easy enough to change and cheap enough also... IN the near future, you are going to want to do an oil change also. If you flooded her bad enough to foul the plugs, you have raw fuel trapped in your oil.
