Hello,

I bought a 95 Vulcan 800, nice bike. The previous owner did not take good care of the outer parts. I bought a new gas cap from Kawasaki and was going to replace the old one. I cannot find a way to pull the lock kit out of the old gas cap. Does anyone know how to remove it or know of any tech diagrams for this model? I spoke with the local service center and they didn't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Paul, welcome to the forums!!

Maybe I am not understanding the question?? You do not have the key to the gas cap, and you need to break the cylinder?
