Just bought a used 2003 1600 classic.Couldn't find anything about a fuel reserve in owners book.Is there a reserve?

Hey Tony, welcome to the site, and as far as your question I'm pretty sure all bikes have a reserve. It should be on the valve. Usually pointing forward. Again have fun and stay safe bro.

 

Hmmmm maybe it doesn't have a reserve. It has a fuel gauge. Maybe they expect you to look at it like in a vehicle. Here is a pic, and I don't see one.

 

NO FUEL RESERVE, I HAVE A 2003. LIGHT WILL COME ON WITH ABOUT 20 MILES OR SO LEFT IN TANK.

 

I believe it's a fuel injected bike. No reserve. Pay attention to the low fuel light.

I have the 04 1600 Classic...no reserve, only the fuel gauge and the idiot light. I alsohave an 04 Harley XL1200C and a 01 Honda 750 ACE. Neither has a fuel gauge or idiot light, but both have the reserve. Watch your gauge once in a while and you'll know in plenty of timewhen to make a potty stop anddo a fill up.
