Chattering from the top end of cylinders
Hello. I have a 95 Vulcan 1500 and recently it started having a chattering noise from the top of the engine. Thinking it was maybe a valve problem i called my local kawasaki dealer and they said that the valves were adjusted by the oil pressure. Well i check oil and it has a sufficient level. Also the exhaust sounds like its clogged up. I know its not because i removed both mufflers and drilled the baffels out of each one. It doesnt sound throaty like it did before having this problem. Since ive owned it, i have done nothing other than changing the oil and filter and had been working fine... Im not sure what to do next other than to take it to someone to look at it. I do however try to repair my own stuff if its nothing major. Any suggestions or answers are much appreciated.... I typically use 10-40 weight oil... I live in the south so its not very cold down here...
