New to this group so here goes. I have a 2003 Nomad fuel injected and when in neutral if I push it forwards or backwards I hear a clicking noise. Can't really locate the noise as to whether it's on the left or the right side of the case although I just reciently replaced the bevel gear bearing it is not the new bearing. If I raise the rear of the bike and spin the back tire it goes click click click click click in no normal pattern. If I put it into first gear and pull in the clutch and rotate the tire, the click goes away. any ideas group?

Here's an additional note....if I push the downshift lever down and hold it there it doesn't click when moving forward or backward. Weird!
